Aeon’s End is a cooperative game that explores the deckbuilding genre with a number of innovative mechanisms, including a variable turn order system that simulates the chaos of an attack, and deck management rules that require careful planning with every discarded card. Players will struggle to defend Gravehold from The Nameless and their hordes using unique abilities, powerful spells, and, most importantly of all, their collective wits.
As there are numerous products available for Aeon's End, customers may not know where to start or what goes with what. So, a base set is required, and base sets include Aeon's End, Aeon's End: War Eternal, Aeon's End: Legacy, Aeon's End: The New Age, and Aeon's End: Outcasts; and they have been released in that order. Now, with a base set you can mix in as many sets as you'd like - including other base sets and expansions. Everything can mix together. Two notes though. First, it's a good idea to keep the 'Basic' cards with their own sets as mixing them with other base sets may cause balance issues. Individual player mileage may vary. Second, New Age and Outcasts introduced Expeditions, so the cards and expansions in Wave 4 and Wave 5 have Treasures which support this mode. Yes, many players refer to the set releases as "Waves", so we've set up the product filter to sort by Wave and all of the products are listed in the order they were released.
