There are two basic paths with the Old School Essentials books. One path, like this product set, combines individual books into Tomes, and the other path keeps subject matter separated into individual books. This is beneficial for several reasons. Primarily, single Tomes are great for an individual. However, when in a group it is often easier to share individual books with folks so they can find what they are looking for. We like to keep the Tome with the Referee and the individual books available to share with groups members. Also, those individual books show off more of that amazing Old School Essentials art!
