Weekly Store Update: 14 February

Happy Valentine's Day! There's a lot of love and light around here, and we hope you and yours can spend some quality time together. Last week we received several new items, including the magnificent Pathfinder Great Wyrm Mengkare and wonderful Kanban EV from Eagle-Gryphon Games. A bunch of restock across all of our board game categories, and a sprinkling of preorders too. We also have a game giveaway going on right now!

Hey everyone, it's Eric here and I'll tell you about some highlights in our store this week, but if you're not interested in shop talk just jump down the post where we have our New Items, Restocks, and Preorders we dropped in last week. Of course, you might want to stick around for the game giveaway information...

I mentioned previously that it was our goal to provide at least one giveaway every month, and since we missed January we're making it up with two games going out in February. We've teamed up with the Solosaurus podcast, and you can find out everything you need to know here, make sure to sign up! The game giveaways are one of our favorite ways to give back to the gaming community!

We also fulfilled our Eclipse: 2nd Dawn for the Galaxy preorder and that was an excellent event! Talk about excited gamers... Of course, our UPS pick-up driver wasn't very happy about it, but he had a dolly so it's all good. We'll do it again, but according to Lautapelit.fi the next print run is anticipated sometime in the summer. Looking forward to that, and next time we're hoping to score a demo copy too.

Continuing our overseas connection theme, we've reached back out to Grimlord Games in Europe. We carry their Village Attacks game, and by popular demand will soon be carrying expansions as well. The point being, if you're interested in a game and it's still in print but hard to get, let us know. I'll reach out to the publisher and the worse that can happen is they'll say no. Which has only happened once in the last three years.
