Weekly Store Update: 30 June
Not much of an update as the store remains temporarily closed. We begin the healing process from a recent surgery. However, we don't plan on being down that long as we should open back up in mid-July. Our annual Summer Sale is still penciled in for the end of July too. Fingers crossed!
INTRO
Welcome to our weekly newsletter! For our new readers I'm Eric, and Wendy and I run Stone Valley Games. Most of the time this newsletter is our way to share both local and world-wide gaming news of interest that popped up last week. It also provides our subscribers, both local and remote, some information on the going's on around here so everyone feels like part of the action. Normally at the bottom of this newsletter we show you the restocks, new items, and preorders added to the store last week. However, with a full court press on surgery recovery, this is just a quick update to let everyone know how we're doing.
THE HEALING BEGINS
We were slotted as the first surgery of the morning, which we always think is the best. Others might like to sleep in, but we just want to get going!
Everything went according to plan, no issues during the surgery and the immediate recovery in the post op was good too. After checking off the three boxes (go potty, walk, good vitals) we were released.
Now the real healing begins! It's going to be intense for the next several days, that's for sure. However, based on what the doctors said, and considering we're focusing on doing all the right things, we don't see any issues at this time.
So, we're currently looking at mid-July to open the store back up and end of July for the Summer Blowout Sale. These next seven days will really tell us how it'll all turn out. Thanks to all of you who have sent their well-wishes, healing thoughts and prayers - we appreciate it! We'll give you another update next week. Until then - Take care!
